Life is Strange Critically episodic adventure heading to Mac

Feral Interactive today announced that the award-winning episodic adventure game Life is Strange™ will be released on Mac soon. Created by Paris-based developer DONTNOD and published by Square Enix on console and Windows, Life is Strange has been highly praised by critics and fans alike for its moving narrative, stylish visuals and compelling system of choice and consequences. All five episodes will be available to play at launch.

Follow the story of Max Caulfield, a photography senior who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe Price. The pair soon find themselves investigating the mysterious disappearance of fellow student Rachel Amber, uncovering a dark side to life in Arcadia Bay. Meanwhile, Max must quickly learn that changing the past can sometimes lead to a devastating future.

“We’re incredibly excited to be bringing such a unique and captivating game to Mac and Linux,”

said David Stephen, Managing Director at Feral Interactive.

“Life is Strange tackles complex themes and asks a lot from its audience, but it gives back in spades. It’s a game that shouldn’t be missed.”

XCOM 2 Alien Hunters DLC Released

Alien Hunters, the second DLC pack for XCOM 2, is out now!

Available to buy separately, or as part of the Reinforcement Pack, Alien Hunters DLC features a narrative-driven mission, new weapons and armor, a new Hunter’s Lodge facility in the Avenger, plus three new “Ruler” alien units to combat.

Ruler aliens will show up at random during a campaign and they are highly intelligent: each has its own unique behavior and tactics. If you can’t take out a Ruler quick enough, it will escape to fight another day.

The four new weapons are one-of-a-kind.
There’s the Bolt Caster, a high damage single-shot weapon;

Hunter’s Axe, a powerful blade weapon that can be thrown at enemies or used to dispatch foes at close range;

Frost Bomb grenade, which can temporarily freeze targets;

ShadowKeeper pistol, which grants its user the Shadowfall ability, an ability that guarantees a hit and places its user in concealment if the target is killed.

Three new suits of armor can also be constructed, one from each of the alien Ruler corpses, and will endow the wearer with unique tactical abilities. The Icarus Suit, for example, is outfitted with powerful boosters enabling its wearer to fly around the map.

Alien Hunters is available from Steam and the Feral Store priced US $9.99 / £7.99 / €9.99.

For more information, please see the XCOM 2 mini-site. A launch trailer is available here.

Alien Hunters requires XCOM 2 to play and is available from Steam and the Feral Store.

If you already own the Reinforcement Pack or the XCOM 2: Digital Deluxe Edition, do not purchase this DLC separately as you will be charged for it.
