Twelve South’s line of accessories has gained another addition, this time is a charging stand for the Apple Watch called Forte. It’s not that bad looking you have to admit.
The stand is compatible with all bands and versions of the Apple Watch. Made with chrome, a genuine leather base pad protects the watch bands and can even provide a place for your iPhone.
As with most accessories you’ll need your own charging cable with the disc being inserted at the top and the cable nicely flows down the back of the arm to conceal it. A ring secures the disc and shields the body of the Apple Watch from touching the stand itself.
As a nice touch, the stand can hold your watch in either landscape or portrait orientation, so it is compatible with the Nightstand mode in WatchOS 2.0.
Forté for Apple Watch is a luxury stand and charging dock carefully designed to match the timeless beauty of Apple Watch, from shape and standards, to fit and finish. Forte elegantly displays your Watch atop the brilliant chrome stand while protecting your band with a buttery soft, top grain leather wrapped base. Forté works seamlessly with your Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable. The 40-degree angle of the Forté arm allows for easy bedside viewing in either Portrait or Nightstand mode. Forté accommodates all Watch bands, from closed-loop Link Bracelets to two-piece styles and Sport models.
The Forte retails for $59.99. You can purchase Forte from Twelve South directly or pop into your local Apple Store.
