No one could complain that WWDC wasn’t packed to the rafters with new features. With so much to discuss instead of our usual episode we’ve gone ahead and done a 2 parter Barry, Karl and myself discuss the points of WWDC whilst going decidedly off topic in places. Spectrum vs C64 and alternative uses for a hot tub amongst others.

On the show this week, hot on the heels from his MyMac 602 appearance is Mr Karl Madden and all the way from his special Apple secret bunker is our resident Canadian Matt. We discuss the future of intel, the future of apple music, the rise of the machines, the need for automated beer deliveries for Karl and how Tim should of responded to wall street.
Theres some big news for the podcast this week, bigger than should you have ribenna in a pint of Guiness. Joining me once again are Barry and Karl from the Mac and Forth show to cast an analytical eye on Apple’s world in the last 7 days. It’s the last in the line of the Rampant Mumblings Podcast but it’s not all bad news…
This week Barry and Karl join me to discuss the subscriptions we have which support our Internet usage. Apple releases a new sleeker, faster and rose gold”er” Macbook. Nemo’s hardware store and this weeks feedback (thanks Sergy), plus all of our
It’s almost like the old band getting back together. This week the collective minds of Karl and Matt from the Mac&Forth show join me to go through the Apple stories of the week, the new shiny stuff they’ve bought since the last time we were all together and a new data saving app recommendation. Think little snitch but easier to use.
Plainly put Batman Vs Superman sucked. In all ways and levels it’s just a bad film but at least Affleck isn’t to blame more Warner studios where it’s obvious the film was interfered with. Did we expect anything else after Warner’s botched attempt at a console game.
It comes to something when you’re watching DareDevil on Netflix and the fight scenes there kick BvS ass.
In this weeks podcast episode Karl Madden and Rick Mccorriston join me right after the Apple 21st event. Well when I said sort of we did have a few technical issues but we got there in the end. Recorded an hour after a technical impressive but somewhat muted Apple event.

Where you can listen
There can only be one story to talk about this week and thats FBiOS. We cover will the law eventually outlaw devices that have no backdoor? The Uk Snooper’s charter think so but the main question we ask. Do we have right to privacy in this day and age? You can listen grab this episode on the iTunes.
This weeks show is hastily recorded in the middle of a park in Munich. Last minute work commitments mean that Im recording this not only in a different office but a different country. What better subject matter for a podcast than working out what you can and can’t use your Apple devices for when flying.
Well everyone else is talking about a rumoured Apple March 15th event for the Cupertino company and so we’re going to be no different. Joining me again this week is Karl Madden from the Mac and Forth show.
This week we discuss all the rumours pertaining to the rumoured March 15th Apple event, the iPhone SE. Karl points out that is someone trolling us because if you say SE quickly, doesn’t that sound like the letter C and in iPhone 5c?
The new iPad, will it be new, the longevity and can it ever step out as more than just a tool for consuming.
Who’s going to pre-order the new Apple watch and will it be announced in March but then ready in the fall, giving those who bought the first generation some time to appreciate it. (see the pun there)
Show The Mumblings Some Love.

Discussing with me this week alternatives to Netflix in light of the Geo Blocking stories going around the net is Karl Madden from the Mac and Forth show. BBC iPlayer, Amazon “not quite prime” Video, Now Tv and TV Player all come in for scrutiny and review. Grab the show on iTunes
In a quiet week for the world of Apple news I’m lucky to have a guest with me this week. Ryan Dinning from Blockless joins me to discuss viewing online video from wherever you are in the world without restriction. So long as you subscribe to that service. Think watch Netflix UK in the USA or access to BBC iPlayer in the USA and you’ll get what were on about.
Way back in episode 1 of the Rampant Mumblings podcast it was all about the Fitbit Charge HR. A nice device even if the charging cable is too small, way over priced and properietry. So it’s sort of fitting that for the 50th episode I share why I intensly dislike the Garmin Vivo Active in a mini review.
This week I’m using another new app, Hindenburg for OS X for recording the podcast. Hopefully this means all the sound clips, bites and the rest of it are levelled out nicely (for once).
In this weeks instalment of the one man podcast (for now), it’s a special occasion where good news is the aim of the game. Website sorted, podcast improvements, some ideas moving forward and Nemos hardware store. There is also a musical interlude from perhaps the best advert in the world. The Muppets sing about Crumpets! Cue the music
