Eddy Cue says that Apple is ‘working’ to bring back music Home Sharing with iOS 9.

Home share allowed you to share your iTunes library, including videos, tv shows along with music offerings over the network. All you had to do was enable within iTunes, head into Videos on your iOS device and you would see your offerings on your device.

Sadly with iOS 8.4 that feature got removed in what seems to be a likely move aimed to appease record labels and music artists for the launch of Beats.

So what to do in the meantime, what’s the best way to stream your media over your network. Right now I’d suggest checking out Plex.tv.

With Plex you can stream your media from your Mac to any device, including iOS, Android and even windows.
