Apple Car Play

Will Apple CarPlay Really Be the Best iPhone Experience on Wheels?

Monday 3rd March Apple introduces CarPlay, a new way to use the iPhone in your car. CarPlay allows the user to access Maps, Messages, Music, and make phone calls with a touch of the screen in your car. You can even press the voice button in your car to activate Siri.   Please tell me there could be a separate head unit for my VW…

Let’s sort one thing out that none of this is revolutionary or the next big leap in car technology, instead Apple is launching a product that should actually work and make life more enjoyable whilst driving.

Getting speech recognition to work in a quiet room or with no wind whilst out walking is one thing but the tech that has to go into noise cancelling microphones so Siri would accurately work with voice commands is a whole other area.

So might look at this as an even more cut down iPhone display with mirroring for the controls but as with all things Apple it’s about getting it right so it works effectively and simply.  There have been cars before with touch screens yet Ford has gone back a step to implement switches so there’s still a tactile contact area to refer to when driving.

First look : WWE Network Launches On Apple TV 6 months £39.99

Hulk Hogan returns to the Wwe just at the time the Wwe network launches on the Apple TV so we go hands in with Wwe tv on the Apple TV.

So what do you actually get for your $60 subscription for six months. Well pretty much everything you would get and more from your cable provider. Of course be wary for signing up as when you do it will automatically renew every six months unless you want to when your preference is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

For those or many with a WWE account you can use that or subscribe with iTunes.

So how am I able to access WWE TV from the UK?

It’s all thanks to our friends at UnoTelly or HideIPVPN who make your internet connection look like it’s in the USA.

24 Live Another Day Jack Is Back

Jacks Back, 24 : Live Another Day Superbowl Commercial

So those “Apple To Show Commercial During Superbowl Rumours” turned out to be a load of rubbish but what we did get was A trailer for 24: Live Another Day.

Granted a few seasons of 24 were a little wide of the mark and the dubbed synthesiser music became tedious especially during the last season yet 24 was still more than watchable.

Fox built anticipation for the new 24 trailer throughout Sunday (February 2) by releasing a series of short teasers.

24: Live Another Day opens with a two-hour premiere on May 5 in the US. It will air on Sky1 in the UK.
