Apple has made live a new AppleCare for enterprise page featuring IT support from IBM that’s part of the Apple plus IBM initiative between the two companies announced back in July of this year
AppleCare for enterprise website offers a rundown of services coverage and support business owners can expect when signing up for the program.
While not an official announcement the webpage suggests Apple’s IBM partnership is in the first stages of rolling out to enterprise customers as promised by Apple CEO Tim Cook during the company’s most recent quarterly conference call.
Features promised on the site include continuous support services from an AppleCare account manager, technical support for employees, IT department level support for six technical contacts of the company, on-site hardware service and quick turnaround for device replacement.
IT support isn’t IBM’s only involvement Big Blue, is also working on apps that fall under the IBM mobile first for iOS banner
That is a suite of custom designed software tailored to the needs of individual markets and they aren’t small markets. CEO cook said last earnings call that IBM will hit banking, governments, insurance, retail ,travel and transportation and telecommunications first
That’s not in at the deep end, that’s in that the deep end with leg irons on on an icy January morning and with IBM if there’s one thing they know it’s the enterprise.
