by Sky have updated their Now Tv offering on the Apple TV to showing live Sky Sports 1 to 4 channels. It doesn’t come cheap however at 9.99 for 24 hours unlimited access.
For the special sporting events that are available and aren’t pay per view and you’re going to watch it less than 4 times a month it does work out cheaper than a sky sports subscription package. Any more than that then Sky Go (which doesn’t support airplay) would be more worthwhile.
With more content steadily coming to the Apple TV is doubtfull there would ever be an actual Apple iTV but it’s another small step in the right direction.
Now. Where’s bbc iplayer for the Apple TV ?
