Three Mobile have today released the Nano Sim range. It seems that nothing has changed in their contract line up other than the size of available sim. Three also came out on top in our Best Data Plan for you iPhone article that’s just been updated. You’d be hard press to be Threes’s Sim Plans for the iPhone 5 if you aren’t waiting for Everything Everywhere 4g.
It’s been a busy and somewhat exhausting day so why not take some time out to listen to the sounds of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds now streaming via the iTunes festival app on your Apple TV. Watching it now via Apple TV it’s a cracking gig even if everyone in the crowd seems intent on heckling.. Good job Noel’s a northern lad and knows how to give as good as he gets. This and other gigs are Free as part of the iTunes festival 2012

Well if you missed all the news that Apple let slip on their website, the iPhone 5 is now officially with us. It’s got everything the 4S has — but thinner, lighter, better, and smaller. This article is scattered to say the least so bear with me whilst I try to collate the masses of information from the Apple 2012 Announcement.

After reading “David Chartier wonders why the 7-inch product category even exists” it got me to thinking about a few iPad things.
With the original iPad being released in 2010, why is it now “obvious” that the tablet segment needs a smaller form factor? 2 long years have passed since Apple undoubtably created something that shook the market up. Ok so Apple doesn’t create new products but they create desire, taking parts and processes from existing lines and bringing them together in a fashions that had yet to be realised but seem obvious when done so. At the very least you can argue that Apple creates products that define a generation or at least inspire companies to copy their lead.

Remember that innovation will now be dead in the water thanks to Apple (yeah right). Here’s a nice post about laptops before and after the Macbook air was released. So… that Samsung air looks original..
…this suggests that the iPad Mini is, effectively, an iPad 2: an A5 with 512 MB of RAM and enough GPU power to drive the display..
An interesting little snippet here from Marco.org coming up with an interesting theory. Tim Cook’s well known for making the most of supply chain and sending hardware down the chain. After the iPad 2 cpu got a shrinking down to 32nm from 45nm it’s seems only logical to throw this into the iPad mini driving a smaller screen.
Speaking of the screen, I’m not sure I could go back to a 3gs resolution screen and only running at 1024 * 768 even if it’s hitting 132ppi. Consider that to the Nexus 7 display 1,280 by 800 pixels, or 216 pixels per inch (ppi).
For Apple to release a product that’s in anyway inferiror into the 7″ ish tablet market would be a bad move.
Available to developers now iOS 6 Beta 4 is available via the usual methods; connecting to iTunes and Over-the-Air (OTA) and those with registered UDIDs. We’ve scoured the net to find out what changes have been made in the latest iOS beta
In a quiet and unannounced fashion Apple has added Hulu Plus to their “hobby” Apple TV. I’ve yet to try this in the UK but performing a software update for the Apple TV then restarting Hulu Plus will magically appear.

But what exactly do users get for their twenty bucks? In short: a
nicer, more polished version of Lion.
Agreed. But there’s more and a whole host of hints to the operating systems future.
A true apple apology style (source joyoftech.com)
In allowing users to redownload any film they have purchased through their UK iTunes account, Apple is giving customers a way to easily track and retrieve previously purchased content. This is especially helpful for users with smaller hard drives in their MacBooks and iOS devices. Now they don’t have to back up and store all the large media purchases they made. When finished watching a film, the user can just delete it and the redownload it again when necessary.
