24, Season 1: In 24, the entire season takes place in one day, with each of the 24 episodes covering one hour, told in real time. No sooner has Jack Bauer finished a game of chess with his daughter, Kimberly, on the morning of the presidential primary, when Kimberly sneaks out of the house and Jack, who heads up the government’s Counter Terrorist Unit, is called to work immediately. He learns that an assassination attempt will be made on presidential candidate David Palmer. Meanwhile, Jack’s wife, Teri, sets out to find their daughter.
24, Season 2: In the season two premiere episode “8:00-9:00 AM”, Jack and his daughter Kim continue to deal with the trauma of Teri’s loss, and the effect it has had on their relationship. But then the FBI receives a phone call threatening the release of a deadly virus in Los Angeles if Salazar isn’t released from prison within six hours.
