“We love people sharing Netflix,” Says Netflix CEO Reed Hastings

Ever had a pang of guilt from sharing your Netflix login details with someone? Perhaps you’ve logged into someone elses system and forgotten to log out and a weight of guilt is crushing your soul. Well feel guilt no more as NetFlix CEO Reed Hastings is about to make you feel a lot better.

“We love people sharing Netflix,”

said company CEO Reed Hastings at CES 2016.

“That’s a positive thing, not a negative thing.”

Netflix has not addressed the issue of sharing your password far and wide, but does apply some restrictions at its end, like limiting standard account holders to two simultaneous streams.

Hastings also revealed that Netflix is expanding to new territories including India, South Korea, the Philippines and Russia, taking the number of supported countries to 130.

The announcement comes weeks after Netflix announced plans to double its original programming content in 2016.
