YouView to Get LoveFilm Love Soon?
An out of the blue tweet shines a bit of light the question, will Lovefilm come to Youview? This tweet posted by a Lovefilm staffer may bring another film alternative to the expensive Sky Now film offering.
According to this SeenIT, YouView partner TalkTalk is offering LOVEFiLM Instant as part of their YouView offering however a LOVEFiLM spokesperson declined to comment on the Tweet and failed to suggest that it referred to the TalkTalk offering. I wrote a humungous YouView Review which you might be interested in checking out.

The flagship for Samsung, Galaxy s3 remains untouched.
Samsungs Own Reality Distortion Field
Samsung in a memo to employees after losing to Apple:
History has shown there has yet to be a company that has won the hearts and minds of consumers and achieved continuous growth, when its primary means to competition has been the outright abuse of patent law, not the pursuit of innovation.

For the last few months, I’ve been part of the YouView Humax DTR-T1000 beta testing; so unlike other reviews, this is an actual, proper hands-on review, complete with videos and images you simply won’t find on those other review sites that just rewrite press releases. This is a long one, so you’ll want to grab a beverage before reading.

You couldn’t help but notice that the UK will start to get 4g rollout this year as early as september thanks to Everything Everywhere but now UK network operator Three (who won the best value sim for your iPad / iPhone) are also joining the party. Three is a network that’s more aimed at Data so it shouldn’t be surprising they’ve joined the 4g party.

OnLive Online Gaming Sells It’s Stuff To Another Company
Remember Onlive? that online gaming company which promised a full on gaming experience no mattter what your hardware or platform as long as you had a decent internet connection has sold it’s assets to an unknown party at this moment. I took at look at Onlive a good while back and found it to be impressive but mainly for those rocking a fibre or unbundled connection in metropolitan areas to reduce lag.

ScanEye Knows What Torrent’s You’ve Downloaded
Well this is just downright creepy yet somehow unsurprising. For those who do use Torrents for anything other than their legally intended purpose, this should serve as a reminded to get some security in place. It knows what you’ve downloaded Torrent wise right down to the date, time and filename.
The conspiracy theorist in me does start to think that seeing as the site is run by anti piracy groups is this some way to almost verify yourself against illegal downloads?
Sky’s Now TV Arrives on YouView
Just launched on YouView is Sky’s Now TV service. Available in a all-you-can-eat movies subscription format for £15 a month or on a Pay and Play with some movies apparently available from 99p (not that I’ve seen any so far.)
£15 might seem a lot to cough up for movies per month when compared to Love Film or Net Flix however Now TV film offerings are current which Sky seems to have tied up the UK market with and don’t forget you get Live channels on your desktop machine. So is it any good on the YouView Humax box?

iOS 6 Will See Removal of YouTube App. Google Working on Standalone Version
Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.
First it was Maps and now it’s YouTube which will no longer feature as part of the upcoming iOS 6 release later this year. For those serious about YouTube and iOS, m.youtube.com offers a much better experience than the baked in app.
