If you were lucking enough to Macworld / iWorld 2014 and pop by the Coppertino booth you’d have seen a sneak peek and a demo of VOX for iOS, a new release for audio lovers everwhere that follows on from Vox for Mac.
Our plan for VOX is to create the premier music platform for music lovers,
said Ivan Ablamskiy, Founder of Coppertino.
“As we continue to add new features, file support, exclusive content and third-party integration, we hope to create the premier digital music platform and are thrilled to bring the same
smart tech and high quality sound to iOS devices.”
Vox for the mac is a decent lightweight player for your iTunes library with the added bonus of supporting more file audio file formats than iTunes. This of Vox for mac being the equivalent of Winamp for the windows platform.
Its ability to handle a wide variety of Lossless and Lossy formats; wide-ranging playlist location access; NAS functionality; easy iTunes integration; high quality sound and more saw Vos become the #1 Music App in 122 countries and the #1 Overall App in 56 countries.
Details are a little thin on the ground as to what features Vox for iOS will offer but the screenshots show that it’ll certainly look gorgeous on the iPhone.
