Well that was a whirlwind of a WWDC. New macbook air specifications have been released with some nice speed increases. Wave goodbye to the ethernet port and say hello to thunderbolt. To use ethernet you’ll be looking at purchasing a thunderbolt to ethernet connector. They really have rammed some decent spec gear into the Macbook Air

WWDC has yet to start and Apple faces yet another leak. Made all the more worse in the eyes of the press after Tim Cook famously stated Apple were “doubling down” on security and privacy.
Personally for me it’s been awhile since I last delved into the murky waters of creating my very own Hackintosh. I never seem to be able to get the right combination of hardware when you start looking at all the PC components out there you can potentially used to build your own PC which is Mac-based it easy to get overwhelmed. Interesting comment here the Australian Managing director of Dell, Joe Kremer.
“People might be attracted to some of these shiny devices but technology departments can’t afford to support them,” he told a media and analyst briefing in Sydney. “If you are giving a presentation and something fails on the software side it might take four days to get it up and running again. I don’t think this race has been run yet.”
Man I wish I could have a lovely Dell Streak 7.. oh wait.. do Dell even make them any more?
A refreshing take on battery life and power from the folks at Qualcomm featuring their range of Snapdragon processors. I especially like the Qualcomm Bug Circus Generator video. Nice to see some of the big companies out there showing a sense of humour.
