There haven’t been many podcasts that I’ve listened back to straight away but Colt Cobbana’s interview with ex WWE Legend CM Punk made me do just that.  Right after the first listen I went straight back to the start for another listen.

It’s taken years of legal wranglings to allow CM Punk to be able to speak free and un restrained as to the reasons why he left the WWE and all of the circumstances, aka notches of frustration,

During the interview CM Punk is always pushing the point that this isn’t a work, a shoot or a bitter ex WWE employee looking to badmouth the company or other wrestlers. It’s more of a telling explanation about the rationale behind leaving.

Whilst there’s nothing much in the way of juicy insights to other sports entertainers it does show how the WWE is a company where it’s better to beg for forgiveness than seek permission.

Even if you haven’t only the smallest of interests in wrestling or you want just a darn good podcast to listen to then please, check out the Art of Wrestling featuring CM Punk
