Recently I’ve been a bit of a microsoft convert, Office 2016 is an amazing piece of software, surface tablets are coming along nicely and now hell must have frozen over with the release of the Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard.

Thanks to the small, portable keyboard yours truly is blogging whilst enjoying a sunny day, overlooking a beach and being able to type frustration free on my iPad.

Microsoft Office For iPad Is Now A Reality

Microsoft have finally shown us the much vaunted Office for iPad in their. Microsoft is using a “freemium” model for Office for iPad. The base suite, which includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is free. Users who don’t add an Office 365 subscription to the offering still can do some basic tasks. But to do more advanced tasks, users will need an Office 365 subscription.

A short roundup of the known stats of the Microsoft RT and Pro models vs the iPad. Strange that the industry is quite disputed on whether or not the Surface is something actually credible. What struck me for a predominately software based company, no actual software was displayed or really demonstrated during the demonstration. For every idea and solution pushed forward just as many questions are raised. Who will develop for Arm when an easier Windows platform exists?
