BRITAIN’S first 4G mobilephone network promises speeds five times faster than 3G but some users say it is too SLOW.
People in 11 UK cities have had access to 4G since Tuesday. It is supposed to vastly improve down load speeds and streaming. But BBC technology, correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones, one of the first to test the network, warned:

Well it’s here, Apple’s own mini iPad complete with 4g capability that you can use in the UK, well as long as you live in an area covered. So what deal gives you the best data for your money. We look at all the major providers and work out how much an iPad Data plan will cost you over the contract length.
As the first batch of new, NEW iPad’s and iPad Mini start arriving on door steps tomorrow, Tesco (the UK’s biggest supermarket) will also have stocks ready to sell from 8pm on friday. Let’s hope my local store gets the POS right and removes the iPad 2 banners this time. It was over 4 months before they changed the iPad 2 posters for the old, new iPad.
